This would be a great full length story, you write very well, it's very in character

Intriguing piece as it stands-the bit about letters changing around and floating about as well as the dark spots he keeps seeing were particularly interesting (and frightening-if I were him that would be freaking me out, for sure).

But that end statement/question from him has me very curious as to what the answer would be, too (if there is one). Appropriate time to share this one, too, 'cause they just showed the episodes that dealt with this topic this evening! If you did do more with this, I'd definitely like to see where you would take that storyline.

I think you have Spencer's voice right for when the headaches were occurring. However, they didn't completely abandon that plotline. That is how they brought Maeve into the show - she cured the headaches.

I'll keep reading because I love Emily and Reid together, even if it's only to work together, but if this is a Reid goes crazy I will have to stop. I don't mean that as a threat, I just don't read those kind of stories. Keep updating, though. Its a good start.
