The prisoner chose to spite both the outsider and the overseers

The aristocrat risked everything for the sake of a game with his wife

The courtesan lived only in the moment

But Oddball only did what he did because of peer pressure, fear and necessity. There's no enigmatic factor to be found in his behavior.

Does each person have access to only one power or are you only highlighting their favorites?

Considering the fact that Corvo had the heart and Daud had a network of spies, it would make sense that the others couldn't do as much as them because they couldn't find the runes and therefore couldn't expand their powers.

I love your idea to write about other characters who've been marked by the outsider! I thought it was really interesting to read about the Dishonored world from varying point of views. There are a few easy-to-fix misspellings and grammar errors scattered throughout, but they're nothing a careful scan wouldn't catch. I look forward to reading more!

I'm reminded of that scene from Boardwalk Empire where Pearl, the courtesan, had her face slashed by a mob gangster out to get Jimmy.

The writing is simple, yet flows. Good descriptions and interesting points of view. I personally think you could make an entire story with your thief character. He really stood out to me.

I think your reasons stated in the note at the beginning are completely valid. After all, the Outsider told Daud that there are eight others NOW. That does not mean there weren't many more previously.

And is it weird I had the mental image of Robert Downey Jr. all through this chapter?

The Outsider tells Daud in the Knife of Dunwall that there are only eight others with the mark, which makes that nine in total with Corvo making it an even ten.

Atleast, that's what most of us fan believe.

Very interesting story. Glad to find a tale about an individual marked by the outsider that doesn't become an assassin.

There were a few spelling errors but nothing that one can't fix after a subtle look over.
