You have no idea how happy I was to see the notification of a new chapter! I've come back to this story a few times since the last chapter was posted and even reread the whole series a couple of times hoping to get my Tracy fix. Thank God you're back to writing this story! You're such a talented writer that you should never stop writing. I can't wait to see what you've got in store for Johnny next!

I was surprised but so HAPPY to see an update - poor Johnny has been left 'hanging' for a while, though things haven't improved for him. He's giving his family a hard time, which is understandable; it's how we often behave when going through the worst of times; and John has already been through it all once.
So, so glad to see you back.

I’ve just read this trilogy through again in its entirety as it’s been a long time, and your writing blows me away every time! It’s heartbreaking watching John go through this ordeal, but at the same time I can’t help but adore the little quips he makes and just the interactions with the other Tracy boys. I’d forgotten about Virgil and so rereading the process of his diagnosis made me cry several times because of just the thought of this family getting hit with more burdens and bad luck. And this chapter, where you have them going at each other, with all the snapping and yelling, I reread it four times because of how awesome it was! God, I love these boys xox

That was literally stunning. I need to be out and downstairs for breakfast in 20 minutes and I've been crying cos this was just amazingly well written. I want so much to hug them all and male them feel better! What an amazing job you've done. I really felt all their emotions almost intimately. Just beautiful. I wish I could write more but yeah. Do have to go. Excellent job. Just stunning.

Oh wow. Finally made it to this point and just WOW. Everybody is falling apart mentally, adding to John and Virgil falling apart physically. WOW

I can see Jeff moving an entire wedding - sort of a very arrogant action, but prompted by good intentions. But now we know what Scotty has been on the phone and texting constantly about.

Friggin hell, Pyre, that was an epic update. Poor John. No wonder he was being obstinate. You put him through hell. Again.

I can see where John would just be exhausted with trying to keep a brave face to keep his brothers from worrying. What he has forgotten, they know him too well and Scott especially remembers how it was the first time John was battling cancer.

Please hurry with the next update cos I want to see how John takes to that last bit of news. And you know I'm not above pestering you. lol

Wow! When you do an update you really go for it! This was certainly worth the wait! Aw, the conflict between the brothers made my stomach knot - it was so well written! And you delivered the perfect amount of description between the brothers (except perhaps Alan - he really is a muppet!) that I totally empathise with all of them! I get why John needs to go and it feel why the others want him to stay! I absolutely love the cliffie (even if it isn't in the traditional sense) and can't wait to see both the wedding and John's reaction in the next chapter! I understand why Virgil isn't looking after himself but you need to come back here and fix it Missy! Lol Good luck with your final semester and I will attempt to patiently wait for more! Great job!

Firstly, let me tell you just how excited I was when I saw there was a new chapter of this story up. Secondly, let me tell you how much it lived up to the expectation. I absolutely adore what you did in this chapter with the splintering of the Tracy family because, as much as it tortures poor Johnny, I love that you explored what happens when he loses the only thing he can rely on at the moment: his family. As ever, the insight you give into his innermost thoughts is both beautifully written and wonderfully candid and the emotional turmoil in this chapter as opposed to the recent physical troubles is a nice and refreshing change of pace. I eagerly await your next chapter, especially Sky's wedding (how nice to give John something positive to look forward to) whenever that may be.

wow wow wow. what a chapter. You know I love this story well the whole series but oh this chapter spoke to me on so many levels. John may be pissed but I totally get it.

I can so relate to this not his personal suffering but I know how it feels to be ill and helpless yet be utterly smothered and feel like a burden. I understand his frustration and the anger that they dont seem to realize how much he is suffering. I can also relate to the arguing that happens when they think you cant hear. I so wanted to hug John there cos I've been there and it hurts yet all you wanna do is scream at them.

This is what I love about you and the story, you go beyond just the medical side of it to the real nitty gritty pain and suffering. Its hell to suffer and you convey that so beautifully. I can feel everything that John is .

I cant wait to see what happens next. Love this so much and you. Your talent shines through in every word of this.
