TakaharaShiori chapter 1 . 7/29
OMG! The feels. I was practically shivering by the end of it. The emotions were so raw and the last line where Shinichi says "I can't live without you", that one just did it for me. It was so beautiful, I burst into tears.
Anyways, amazing fic. I really really really loved it.
Love IshaXD

GentaLogic chapter 1 . 8/3/2017
This is un-sung genius! I mean, that's comparable to Becky-Weaver-good. Oh my word I'm so glad I found this. I wonder what Mouri-san's reaction would be when Ran came home with burns and a slap mark across her cheek...
Wragziez chapter 1 . 10/22/2016

Violet-Dalily chapter 1 . 4/9/2016
Oh my god, the EMOTIONS. How did you even manage to find the right words, the right phrases, to convey this kind of raw emotions so Beautifully?
This was a great pleasure to read, truly.

How does one begin to write a review for something as amazing as that? It was breathtaking. This has got to be one of the most moving things I've ever read. I don't know if words can express how I'm feeling. It's true that there are so many words we can use to convey emotion. Usually I can at least come up with something, but for the first time in my life I am completely, genuinely, and utterly speachless. It's a cliche term to express how extraordinary something is but I intend that sentence in an entirely literal way. I may be able to write words but none begin to show what I'm really feeling. We can get close but sometimes words fail us and we need to be able to say that we are speachless. Because describing how we feel is an impossibility for we don't have the right terms to express it. I hope you understand were I'm coming from and that I'm finding it hard to tell you anything. But I hope to use a simple phrase to convey what can not be written, but implied. These two small words can mean so much on their own.

Thank you.

Crescent Blue chapter 1 . 8/29/2014
Ah, the long awaited moment (that never happens in the canon), Ran finally realizes the whole truth.

This was a beautifully written portrayal of that seemingly elusive scenario.

Utterly and beautifully perfect.

Sweetums128neo chapter 1 . 7/27/2013
The story nearly had me in tears. The raw nature of this, of Shinichi's doubts, Ran's understanding, the mutual respect and love and strength in the two of them. This is absolutely fantastic. Absolutely. I just...aurgh. Thank you.
Anina chapter 1 . 5/9/2013
This. Was. Beautiful. I absolutely adored this and would buy and read a series of books if you had any (and that's saying a lot since I can barely focus on manga and fanfics never the less books). I didn't think it was corny, I thought this was art (now THAT sounds corny -.-;)
ThreeKittiesDancing chapter 1 . 5/9/2013
I agree with your ANs, that this story is rather cathartic. How many years have we DC fans dreamed of Ran finally learning the truth about Conan and Shinichi, and hoped for the best possible outcome for them? Even though your story only refers briefly to the fact that Ran has already found out Shinichi's secret, this moment between them, where she insists on staying by Shinichi's side while he undergoes his transformation back into Conan was moving and powerful. It was an incredible bonding experience, even though Shinichi could only feel shame and self-loathing at first. It was wonderful to read a story where Ran witnessed the true depths of what Shinichi/Conan's secret does to him, both physically and emotionally. We can only hope that whenever Aoyama-sensei gets to that point in the manga, he will give us a scene at least half as emotionally moving as this story. Thanks for the great read, and please do keep writing for DC!
