Brilliant story. (And here I'd been promising myself is go through your oneshots & short fivs again first before going through your long chaptered fics properly (i.e., doing more than skimming some).
I love your characterisations and the way you create believable friendships and other developments between characters...like a big created family.

Wow...I absolutely love this story! Ah! It was so amazing! It needs many more favorites! Everything was just awesome and the plot and everything was marvelous!
Especially the brotherly bonding and in both universes. Mycroft's reactions to Sherlock's friends not being there (and John? DEAD? Ah! I felt like wailing because despite the fact it made perfect logical sense, it was horrible. _) and the counterpart Mycroft reacting to a much less innocent and much colder Sherlock. The characterization was spot on! :)
I love those two when they try to tolerate each other, but here I loved them because, wow, they were actually showing that they care. Really sweet.
Anyway, brilliant job on this story, plot, writing, and character development and portrayal, the whole lot. It's going straight into my favorites and the little room in my Mind Palace (more like Mind Apartment, I'm not awesome enough to have a Mind Palace T_T) labeled "FANFICS THAT MUST ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AND BROUGHT UP IN EVERYDAY CONVERSATION". :3 This is definitely one to remember!

Hands down the most enjoyable piece of Sherlock fanfiction Ive read in a while...wow...I mean...just...wow! Im at loss for words, I don't even know where to start...the idea is just brilliant and youve managed to put it all into an actual story equally brilliantly! It is rare to find a good story that has Mycroft as a sort of a main character and um...being a huge My fangirl I always do appreciate it when I find one Love the way you played with both, the alternate and our versions of Sherlock and Greg (yay for Mystrade bromance! ehm... :D) AND Mycroft... *sighs* Now I need this to happen in the canon XD Or just the part where they make up :D Arghhh damn you Moffat!

Anyways, dear, great job! I'm re-reading this a couple times in the future for sure, if only to satisfy my need for a little brotherly time with My and Lockie :3

He simply was not made for this kind of late-night excursions.' No kidding - then again, Mycroft's there in the first place, so maybe he's just not giving himself enough credit.

Really fascinating story-though I wish we could see other!Mycroft's return and discovering what happened with Moriarty.

i cant believe i neglected to review! i love this story the ending was perfect, the two brothers are right where they ought to be! aaaah i just reread this again btw! definitely a favorite!
