Bittersweet but loved it!

Screw you pinky, I, Itachi Uchiha, do NOT have to be back in Konoha period. My name has been cleared, and I'm not a missing nin, clearly clear from all crimes against me. I am a free man, and I'll live wherever I want, and I absolutely do NOT want to live in Konoha. I absolutely would appreciate it if you and the Hokage Naruto, and everyone else to leave me alone to live in peace, please.

This was such a well-written story. Such wonderful characterization that feels so close to how they would have all grown up to be. Itachi's last years as a Konoha resident with Sakura by his side is so bittersweet but makes so much sense. Thank you for writing this.

This is a really influential story in my life. About 4 years ago, someone I loved but was only with for a short time broke up with me with “you could be the sweetest peach, but not everyone likes peaches”. I ended up buying a pound of peaches and 2 peach scented air fresheners right after that.

There’s something about your storytelling that leaves a familiar ache at the bottom of my heart. Whenever I remember that phrase and feel the melancholy of that time in my life, I go back to this story to remind myself that I shouldn’t deny myself the pleasure of a peach.

I hope to see you return to writing soon. You’re dearly missed.

I hate sad stories... HATE them. I read to get away from sadness. I read the reviews and decided to try this. I do not regret it. This was a very heartfelt story. Sad but pure. You knew it was coming, the ending that is, but it was so well written you wanted to read it anyway. Great job! Thank you for sharing this. It is not easy putting yourself out there with writing especially with something that is not the norm. So thank you and again great work.

Wow, I can’t believe I just found this story in 2018. I enjoyed how you had a calm approach to the story and didn’t rush the scenes. I wish there was more, but in a way the amount written was exactly perfect. This will always be a favorite.
