I am so completely gone on the world and characters you've built and the slow-burn between Rio and Neil is killing me in the best way. The realism and fantastic elements mesh so perfectly. I was so skeptical about a mafia plot but, man, do you make it work. I am in love with everything about this. Seriously. I cannot gush enough.

NOOOOOOOOOO! ALL TIS ANGST! Poor Neil, he just can't wrap his brain around what goes on in a women's head. That's okay, because even us women don't really understand what goes on in our own heads! Awww, but I just feel so bad for Neil. At the same time, maybe he needs to be the one to make the first move? Rio is just in denial and the only way to get her unstuck is to give her a great big shocking shove that she won't be able to ignore. BE TA MAN NEIL! Strap your balls on and confess! Lol.

I can't wait to read more of this fic. I hope Rio can resolve the issues with the mafia, as well as the tension between her and Neil. Please update again soon! :D

Tbh I love this story so much that I named my animals after yours. My other chicken is named Apple, woops! I understand that writing can sometimes be difficult, especially if you become disinterested, so I'll patiently look forward to the next chapter, assuming there is one. Poor Neil ;-; The pacing does make sense though! You dont have to rush the romance, I just hope they do end up together.

I was so scared when I saw the title of this! I thought it was a note saying you dropped the story, but I'm glad to hear you aren't. I'll be waiting for your update! I know how hard it is, I'm pretty bad at consistent updates myself.
