I love seeing how people underestimate John & then are surprised at his cleverness & BAness. Also, Sherlock on a motorcycle? That is a bit weird to me. Seems more like John's style.

A very interesting and well-written story. I do enjoy sometimes seeing major characters from the POVs of minor or original characters, because of the different perspectives it can give us on them, and this is an excellent example of that type of work. I like!

I am not a big fan of oc but tara is an exception. I love her character. when she feels that she is very important because she witnesses the reunion of the legendary duo I thought she is rightfully justified. I feel this weird envy while reading the part where she saw John and Sherlock hug and hung into each other like a life line (maybe it is). How great would it be to witness such a magnificent scene. Such a lucky woman she is.

Your John makes me love John even more than I already have. He is a Nice Man indeed.

Oh Sherlock! Honestly... the reason why his supposedly covert vigilant tries really gets to me is because for a self proclaimed high functioning sociopath like him to feel protective for John is really endearing. Then for him to drop everything because he thought John is in grave danger makes it even more touching.

The ending was really sweet, and I like to think that Tara may just end up in a cab on the way to a crime scene with the two one day. I really like her. :)

This was such an emotional story, it made me cry quite a bit, especially at John's emotional turmoils. Very well written!

Amazing! Just fantastic... I think you portrayed all the characters very, very well. And I like that you made John very smart here, because he is very smart but a lot of people fail to see it...

When looking through fanfic summaries, I usually avoid two things: "it's my first fic!" and OCs. However, your premise sounded intriguing and, frankly, I love me some Dr John Watson. So I gave your tale a spin, and I'm so glad I did! Well written and quite clever.

I liked all of Sherlock's watchers, each had a very different vibe and take on John. I like how you were able to weave their stories together and we learned they were all watching John at the same time, in different places.

While I generally hate suicidal!John, I can appreciate where you were coming from as explained in your author's note. The scene with John and Sherlock hugging at 221B was beautiful. I love how Tara recognized that this is a great love story in whatever way you want to see it (I choose platonic, thank you) and that above all these men are, and always have been, each other's lifeline. (I may have had something in my eye at that point.) ;-)

Finally, hooray for John for reaching out to Tara. How like John. And I liked Sherlock's nod of thanks in the end as well. I agree with you that Sherlock is brilliant but John holds my heart.
