Normally I find straight fics quite boring and annoying, but this one was actually really sweet and endearing! :'))

Oh my God, I love this little story. I read it AGES ago (was it as long as a decade ago?) on another site. I sat there trying to wrack my brain and remember which one, but then I opened the story up and you said it was at Phoenix Song. Memories!

It's simple in the very best way. It's romantic, but in a very realistic, boyish sense - it's not overly saccharine and there aren't declarations of undying love, and that makes it all the more perfect. Normally Harry is the one put off-kilter by magical weirdness, but here he turns the tables on Ginny. And it's all from Hermione's perspective to preserve the reveal.

Hermione even eats them one-by-one until she's flustered about Ron, then she tries to eat a handful like he would have; Ginny's comment about getting fat; the easy flow of the dialogue; the true-to-book voices of the characters, and the perfect ending... I love it. I absolutely love it.

Ahh so sweet. I loved, loved it. I have never heard the myth about the greens, if it is true. I like that harry has been plying ginny with the candy to get her to like him again. I can imagine them having candy m&m's on in bowels on the tables at their wedding and harry giving her a bag of m&m's every valentine's day. Cant wait for you to finish you other story so I can read both and then get to you new ones. I have been enjoying your old works. I never really go to mugglenet since there is not much harry/ginny over there. So I cant wait for you to post more.
