i laugh/cried so hard

about this whole story, really. like, wow serious heavy topic here and yet it was just so FUNNY in the first couple chapters. i mean honestly this is kind of exactly what id expect of real-life people. the devastation, the numbness, the idiot friends who make light of it and it actually kind of WORKS

so it was just like this teetering balance of serious/hilarious to the point that i was all but laughing with tears in my eyes and then it actually DID get serious but it ended all nicely and im rly happy?

like wow it was just such a great thing to read, especially since i was reeled in like a fish on the summary alone, and im really glad the story lived up to it

i cant honestly say i have any criticism for this story. i mean, this is a difficult subject to tackle in the first place, and for you to do that, and with such care, theres just nothing really to criticize on that front (and since i was so drawn into it, i probably hadnt noticed any glaring errors in it). seriously though it had a steady flow and a full story, and i cant say there were any spelling or grammar mistakes that stuck in my mind. maybe you could have fleshed out the ending a little more, but i was content with it so, eh.

on a side note, was this in any way based off that movie "fifty/fifty"? cuz that term was thrown around a few times and i just kept being reminded of that, not that i actually saw the movie. just wondering, i guess.
