Lots of problems with this story, but overall an enjoyable read. Shame that it has been abandoned.

Twenty thousand is your average college population? No college I've ever heard of, each one I've actually seen gets about one or two thousand. Some bigger ones I've read about maybe ten or fifteen thousand, but I'd never consider twenty average by any means.

Other than that horribly inaccurate figure in the note though, good story so far, been having a lot of fun reading it.

Great beginning! Yeah, I agree with you on the gold issue. There's nothing said of why galleons are only worth 5 pounds, but so may ways you could devise to make that the case (like galleons being transfigured from a small amount of actual gold, etc.) I think a 50:1 or even 100:1 rate would be more realistic. If anything you went a little too easy on him thwarting the system, but maybe his power is just so esoteric that the goblins didnt think of it.

I have truly enjoyed this and find myself caring about Eric, but this is the second of your stories that I have gotten captured by only to find that you didn't continue. So, other than a few mechanical mistakes, that's my only criticism of your writing so far. I want more!

A rather fascinating story. Your worldbuilding is awesome as in your other works, but Eric is a bit too much of a Sue for my liking.
He come off as rather adult, kinda like those timetravel Harry's. A lot less adult or maybe with a less depressing backstory would have made the character more believable. I rather like that you haven't derailed Harry Potter's character and used an OC for it though.

Overall the story could have gone a lot better without the subtle Weasley bashing. Props for not doing it hamfisted, but after 11 years of being subject of the twins pranks and his mothers preference of his sister it's actually a surprise that Ron didn't come out a lot more disturbed. There might have been the potential to use Ron as a serious antagonist, but you went with the sadly rather common fandom interpretation of the lazy, stupid, backstabbing git.

Less power might have been better or the usage of an SI. I liked the way you did the SI with your Naruto story. Exploiting the universe is fine after all as long as it stays in character. Eric seemed too much like the miracle machine sometimes.

I just re-read this- are there going to be updates? The destiny of Eric, Harry, Sirious . in this story had been plaguing me and I had to hunt this down which suggests that this is very good as many stories just fade away from my mind after a while.

This comes under the category of very good.
