This is the best thing ever. Quite possibly my *favorite* Dizzie fanfic ever. I love Mrs. Bennet more than I can possibly articulate (SHE. IS. SO. PERFECT.) and Darcy is the cutest thing ever (and very accurately portrayed, I think), but Lizzie was my favorite part. Not only did you somehow manage to capture her voice perfectly (have a third helping of cornbread, rich handsome stranger) but you also managed to convey her personality - WITH the insecurity and the flippancy coexisting in a way that many fail to grasp. Kudos and let me go watch episode 98 again ;)

This was beautiful! Perfect portrayal with such elegant prose mixed with the a modern narration. I hope you will continue to write more of Darcy and Lizzie's stories!

I have a soft spot for Mr Bennet, and I loved how you handled him... and I definitely loved that you gave him the Wall Street Journal (but that's more for personal fangirl reasons about which you may ask me, should you wish to know, but which perhaps don't belong in a review, lol).

I liked the reference to the book, with Mrs Bennet going from barely civil to being in awe and gushing over him.

I liked that you gave their kiss(es) a slower buildup, that there was talking in between and around, and I felt that the timing of it during their relationship was much better than a great many that I've seen.

Generally a realistic portrayal, I think, and I like that. :)

I only wanted to know where Lydia fit into this, but I guess that it was left out for good reasons, not knowing how her narrative is going to play out just yet, and whether or not she is likely be around the Bennet house.
