That was a great story. I really miss Alaric and Im happy that theres at least fanfiction about him (and Damon). It was sweet how concerned Elena was and I could really see her and Bonnie texting, wondering what happened. And Stefan being all mysterious. Typically Alaric to pretend hes okay, when hes really injured. And typically Damon that he didnt want to admit how much he worried about his friend. Not even to himself. I loved how he took care of Ric and how suspicious Ric was, demanding to know why he was doing it. And that Damon, finally admitted how he felt and even kissed Ric. Also loved the end and how Ric was happy, but still a little worried about how the others would react. Though I think he neednt worry about Elena, the way she was acting.
