I can't tell you how happy it made me to hear that Crooks arrived in Severus' painting upon his death, and that he now shares it with Hermione too. Glad that they're still a force to be reckoned with, protecting the school. I'm not sure why Hermione told him to reread a history of magic though? (It's late so I'm using that as my excuse lol).

I love how this sort of still ties into Post Tenebras, Lux. And I also love it all on its own. The idea of Albus being basically driven out of Hogwarts for being a manipulative bastard is just so great in and of it's own.

Oh gods, imagine being the Headmaster/Headmistress with those five watching your every move. Individually they're terrifying enough, but a Severus and Hermione combo backed up by Dilys, Phineas and Minerva would be enough to drive anyone into an early grave (with a portrait next to them, no less)
I'd be surprised anyone was willing to take the job to be honest, if they knew about them in advance, haha. I laughed the entire way through this, it's perfect and terrifying all in one, lol ;)
