How things should've been.

Amazing, amazing and also perfect. Everything I want Henry and Emma to do and say, and the pain I want Regina to show and the danger to Regina by Cora that I want to be acknowledged. I love Emma's guilt and desperation to really say sorry and somehow save Regina and realising the damage she's done. So wonderful and heartbreaking the Regina/Henry hug with her repeated 'I love you's.
I know, with the one shot and the complete and everything, but, you know... more? I'll alert just in case...

This is such a wonderful fix to the last couple of weeks' episodes, and no doubt will be AU after tomorrow, but I'll keep it as head canon for as long as I can. I love the intense Swan Queen here, but also that they don't actually get together at the end. There's too much pain, it's too soon, but you've left so much possibility open for them. Thank you!

well. This is, I mean, wow. Since last weeks episode, I kept trying to think of ways that Emma would apologize to Regina, ways where it would encompass the emotion, situation and the overal shitiness of the situation, but none of it came up to this level. This is perfect. Regina not believing Emma, and then how hard she grips onto Henry, knowing her mother is coming for her, and Emma's persistence. This is just perfect. Great story. I almost want to see if you will continue it but there is such a thing as a perfect one-shot, so I won't push it.

Please, please, please continue this. You simply cannot leave it at that. This is utterly brilliant. I've been searching for fix-it fics ever since that damned Cricket Game episode and this just gave me life.

You write them perfectly. The voices are so on point. Not to mention all the little details that just add to the awesomeness that is this fic.

Really? What is this "complete" business? Because (And I hesitate to say this because I am seriously jonesing for an Averno fix) there are so many exceptionally good things here that I really did not want it to end. I want to know what Regina's playing at, holing up with her mother like that actually solves anything, and how Emma makes it right. I adore you for fixing Henry. I feel like someone should definitely be paying you to do this for the show. I love that Regina has been on her speed dial practically since the beginning, and that she's called and bugged her enough to know how many coffee sips she has till voicemail picks up. Details like that are why I'm addicted to your fic. That and the dialogue, the dialogue is so terrifically in character, it just brings the whole thing to life in my head. Phenomenal work!
