The worst thing I can say about it is that there isn't more of it. It feels like you lost interest in the end and decided to rush the ending, as this story really had some legs with the way the two worlds were bleeding into each other and Naruto being tasked with defeating the Chosen Undead. I was dying to see where that was going.

But I'm not here to give you a hard time. In fact, I'd like to congratulate you on a job very well done.

I loved so many of the ideas you have going on here. I like Naruto actually pulling his weapons and armor into the waking world and the revelation that Kakashi is aware of it. I loved little touches like Naruto being so preoccupied with his nighttime journeys that he can't even be bothered to remember Sakura's name. I absolutely adored the touch of Naruto not sounding like Naruto in the early going, only to reveal that he still speaks normally in the waking world and adopts that flowery, Souls-flavored speech pattern in the other world.

You really made this concept come alive in just a handful of chapters. Like I said, I wish there was more of it, be it a sequel or a rewrite or a spinoff, but you've made your stance clear. It stands as-is, and I love it for how weird and offbeat and engaging you made this journey.

The story had something going for it, then you just decide to...kill off the main character so suddenly?

Essentially, nothing of major importance happened.

Naruto didn't even get much character development.

You know it's good when you ask yourself 'what the hell is going on and why do I want more'

Well, that was quite the ride. I liked it though. A bit confusing at times, and I can't say I truly followed the last few chapters, but whatever, it was fun. Dark Souls is also fun so I know the story well enough for this to have larger significance than just some game and Naruto mashed together. Sadly though, he died, I wish he would have lived on longer but that is not for me to decide, overall the story was interesting, but a bit thick at times. I wish there would be a sequel, but the story ended with Naruto and the Chosen Undead, well, dead. Sad moments to be had. Good story though.

Wow, you really managed to capture the feel of Dark Souls. No happily ever after in sight, just sadness and doubt. Well done!

Yeah, this was horrible.
It had an interesting premise but it went from 0 to batshit insane way too quick.

This would have made more sense if the insane point of view was dropped. I'm just a little bit lost.

So... that's it?
Naruto was just sort of... there. He didn't actually accomplish anything, and just sort of dies at the end. In both worlds.

In Konoha, he has a week of erratic behavior, and then just sort of... dies.
In Dark Souls, he flits around ineffectually, fails to kill- or even so much as alter the course of -the antagonist. And then he dies.

Story might as well never even have happened.
Sort of wish I could have my two hours back.
