Good one-shot story.

I knew, from reading the timeline in the Appendices, more times than I can count, Legolas and Gimli sailing off to Sea and were the last of the Fellowship, by that time. It was nice to read a story that explored Legolas feeling the Sea drawing him towards the West, calling him to the Undying Lands. Seems nothing can part Legolas and Gimli now, which is another reason why I like this unusual friendship.

This was a stunning fic. Stunning. It struck me in the best ways and confused me, leaving me with questions, but also with a sense of peace and a deep seated joy in the writing. This is one of those stories that's meant to be remembered. I've been around this site for a long time and I can tell you, I fave fics rarely. This is worth it.
