Nicely done once again. You're brilliant when it comes to tackling these situations. I was not too thrilled about how they treated Dale and how her death was handled in the series and I'm glad it is come to light at last!

I think this is a nice companion piece to the original episode. It shows a bit more depth to the feelings and emotions of the characters, as well as diving a bit deeper into the creation of Dynak-X. Nicely done!

I liked your descriptions of Dale's POV. I also liked the interactions between Rick, Flash, LJ, and Jedda at the mansion. This is a very nice take on this part of the story.

This is a wonderful story and I enjoyed it so much. I always thought it was weird that they didn't grieve very much - after all, their wife/mother died! Personally, I always thought that it's only her image that was shown in the crystal and used for the computer. If it was really her soul, I feel sorry for her - Flash cheating and her and Rick barely exchanging any personal words with their wife/mother. I think they did it this way in the show because they thought they couldn't have a mother and wife die in the first episode of the kids show. Personally, I would have liked that better - more tragedy, more drama, more storyline. Sadly, there was one one other episode (I think) centered around Rick/his mom. Anyway, I hope there are many more Defenders stories to come, I love them!
