Awesome story. I personally prefer having Water and Lightning chakra natures or Water and Earth. I'm a fan these pairing NaruHina, SasuSaku , and InoSai. ItaAnk isn't a new one to me but I like it. One story I read had AnkZabu. Itachi is my favorite ninja and for clans I like Uchiha , Sarutobi , and Hozuki. Hozuki is Suigetsu's clan. All Hozuki clan members have getsu at the end of their first names. I eagerly await the other stories and during the Jonin exams when the guys tried to act tough against Sasuke after seeing Asuma knocked out gives me a bit of Family Guy humor.

Not sure if you read these anymore or not, but if so, for future reference, it's not "Scar", it's "Wound", or "Cut". A scar is what happens after a cut/wound has healed over, and consists of fibrous tissue.

To be more specific, here is the definition of scar: a mark left on the skin or within body tissue where a wound, burn, or sore has not healed completely and fibrous connective tissue has developed.

Figured I'd mention that, since you've been using scar in place of cut or wound from the start, and it's just been bugging me.

There is literally no way in hell that Lee, even with 5 gates opened, would be to fast for Itachi to track. Hell, I'm pretty sure Itachi wouldn't even need his Sharingan for that. Lee is just a genin. A fast one, but still just a genin. Itachi, even with him not having left the village is going to be one of the top 3 strongest people in the village. You even had Orochimaru admit that Itachi could beat him. If Itachi can beat a Sannin in your story(and in canon), he's not going to struggle tracking a genin's speed.

Ok, I like the concept of this story. Itachi as a Jonin sensei to a Genin team is definitely something I'd enjoy seeing if they ever considered doing a flashback arc to it for the anime or making an Itachi Gaiden thingy out of it like they did for Kakashi about his time with Rin and Obito as members of Team Minato.

However this execution of the idea is quite poor. It's stretching the realms of believability. Itachi was a Chunin at the age of 10 and an ANBU at 13. He's never had trouble with any opponent he's faced in canon even while suffering from an unnamed illness in Shippuden which had progressed significantly by the time he had the battle with Sasuke in which he allowed his brother to finally end his life. Yet you have him having trouble against a trio just out of the academy and against the Demon brothers who were joke for just Sasuke alone in canon.

You've also got him using his Mangekyou like its a necessity. Itachi's smart enough to know that those eyes of his are meant to be a trump card not something to use against amateurs so far bellow him in skill they'd die from him using something as simple as a kunai against them. I am not even over-exaggerating with that statement. He is more than fast and smart enough to have used a simple kunai to incapacitate Mizuki, the demon brothers, hell even Zabuza and Haku would've been easy for Itachi to do away with, with a simple kunai. In fact if you pay attention the Uchiha are pretty well aware that without their eyes to rely on they're quite vulnerable so most of the ones at an elite level are highly skilled in things like taijutsu and ninjutsu and especially kenjutsu (weapons arts). We've had several flashbacks in canon of Itachi working on his skills with shuriken and Sasuke showed incredible proficiency in kenjutsu in his bout with Orochimaru during the Forest of Death excursion in the Chunin Exams arc.

I'm not trying to be rude or flaming you, I'm just letting you know this isn't really a believable execution of this idea.

Itachi isn't Kakashi. He would not likely have any trouble with his Mangekyou by this point. Not if he still got it the same way as in canon several years back.
