Okay, first, I really do like this story. It's interesting and I'd like to read more.

That said, I absolutely must add:

"Swang" is not a word. The correct conjugation is "Swung". I give that critique as someone who has bettered my own writing through such criticism and I hope only that it helps you to grow as an author. You definitely have the voice of a storyteller. Just a few technical bits still to go.
