i feel like this is one great transformation of digimon tri into a fluffy shoujo series of some sort (altho did u mention in one of your notes that you didn’t watch tri? orrrr. don’t mind if i mixed up hehe). well that’s how i’m imagining it. tri visuals x your story.

i found your fic through your tumblr (awesome blog, btw) and it's fascinating how i keep missing a great digimon fic like yours!

your drabbles are light and heartwarming, i'm having a hard time choosing my favorite. i mean you're already start with a good, goofy one. but the more i scroll, my favorite keeps changing! i want to say the ranger, but i also like the cards because it shows perfectly how dumb taichi is.

and the way you end it; i shook my phone excitedly reading taichi's last sentence.

i'm going to read each chapters slowly so that i have enough reading during this lockdown. i'll try to leave reviews for each chap, but do tell me if that actually bothers you (and your notification) : keep writing and stay safe!

Okay, I think I need a moment to compose myself right now - you are incredible and wonderful and I am so thankful that you are a Mimato shipper! I know you have been struggling to write but seriously, you pulled this one out of the bag!

The interaction between Taichi and Yamato at the start made me grin. Taichi's various attempts to get Yamato to agree to the double date were excellent. From starting with the Sora speech to resorting to emotional blackmail, it was just a funny scene :)

Then divine intervention striking yet again to bring Mimi and Yamato together...my heart was melting throughout the moment where he was just watching her sing, beautiful. The story of Yamato, his mother and the piano was moving and it was nice to have that insight into their relationship.

And the ending..."now he was sure that he wanted to be the only one who was allowed to touch her" I want to cry right now.

Well done again on writing this chapter :) Hopefully it will give you some momentum so it's not another 2.5 years til the next update - I still need to know what happened at that dinner between Sora, her mum and Taichi! Plus we need something to keep us going now the new series is on hiatus.

P.S I did end up re-reading the last chapter...although I had reviewed it I couldn't remember it (I also checked the chapter before but I did remember that one because Taiora...)!

I've been a Mimato shipper since I first watched Digimon back in my childhood and still adore them to this day. I've just started to watch Tri and haven't watched the reboot yet, but i hope they can at least interact a bit more than in the classic.

He finally kissed Mimi. I’m happy for mimato. I absolutely adore your story.

Oh. My heart... That was such a wonderful POV from Yamato. That sentence about how he wanted to be the only one to touch her was really sweet. Especially since it was on the heels of discovering that she knew him enough to talk to Sora about not being ready for double dates and the like. His internal feelings are just so relatable, especially when he finds himself on the receiving end of affection. He's so much more vulnerable than most assume and I like that this relationship challenges him to open up and communicate more.

On Mimi's side, that tentative, gentle understanding made me melt and, honestly made me an even bigger shipper, because, hear me out, Mimi is passionate and headstrong. Not in the typical ways, but in ways that can sometimes make her a little self-centered or too focused on her own feelings, so her putting deeper thought into how he might have felt was a genuinely wonderful sign of character growth. And her reassuring him that they would go at their own pace-I love that she took the initiative to comfort him. In previous chapters it felt like she ran away a bit, which is normal when you're insecure and trying to protect your heart, but now she's talking things out with him and-well, I'm incredibly excited to read more.

I think what I love the most about this story is how you see the characters experience change, they vacillate between this incredible maturity and all the uneasiness and insecurity of being a teenager. It's a gorgeous contradiction that rings true to growing up.

Aaah I was following this so many years ago! I can't believe you're posting again :) you made me vary happy.
I love your writing, so correct, so light and so touching. I could see every detail of Yamato's description!
