This story is AMAZING I felt so angst reading about Sherlock growing old alone! You burned the heart out of ME.
Sherlock speech was beautiful Mollys reaction was perfect and hearing about Mollys dad and Sherlock's stilted relationship with his Mother (and brother, poor Mycroft he knows how to love much better than Sherlock he loves his brother so much). Moriarty was so funny! I love the Meretricious bit but the funniest part was Sherlock disgust when he said "Debenahams?"

There were more years. Loads of them. Though the squeals of laughter at the last lines were what concerned my husband enough to come check on me.

OMG you had me at Moriarty was dead to begin with. But then the suits. If there are actual tears of mirth rolling down my cheeks, you wouldn't tell, would you?

A Muppet Christmas Carol is, by far, my favorite adaptation of the story. I watch it every year on Christmas Eve, and sing along with Kermit, teary-eyed, that "there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas." Since you care about my life. *cough* But this was a wonderful adaptation, as well. Love the closing line. Can't remember which episode that is - but don't tell me, because now I just have an excuse to re-watch the series! Like I needed one. Ahem. I'm done pretending to be witty now. Great story, great holiday, great distance between now and said holiday, but who cares? The end.

Whoooaaa. More emotions for me that I didn't ask for but accept anyway. The four friends who found nothing funny in the deerstalker hat, now a team? Hell yes. Molly's "there was not an ounce of artifice in anything he did" speech? HELL. YES.

Wow. WooOWOOOWw. This almost brought me to tears. The scene in which Molly's father dies is terribly sad - and the contrast between Sherlock's family and hers is astounding. Wow. I appreciate the hard work you must have put in to write this.
