Wow. I'm caught between smiling because it was brilliant and frowning because it was unbearably sad. It was really amazingly good! The premise creative, and you pulled it off well. By that, I mean, the way it affected the characters and played out through the plot worked. My one complaint is that it was slightly hard to follow in some parts, but I think a little elaboration would go a long way. Not too much, though, because I guess that was one of the cool things about the story, that the reader understands things gradually throughout, rather than just being told. So there needs to be a balance. The story was, overall, artfully done. Write on. :)
