Yessss!

I hope this story is still not abandoned! It's been 7 years, have you written any more on it? Would you be willing to if I ask pretty please with a cherry on top?
Alyce Reide chapter 3 . 10/14
This is amazingly well-written! I love how Aang has to face the direct consequences of his deus ex lion turtle. And the reincarnation!

I'm so glad I picked up this story! So far, I'm loving it, and how it's a departure from LOK. The truth is I love ATLA and I don't hate LOK, but between you and Boogum, all my hearts desires about this universe come to pass. Not to mention, all your original ideas and breaks from canon basically feed my soul.
So the Zuko/Kuzon arc really interests me. I find it really makes me furious that Aang did not step in somehow for that poor boy. And I find it really hard to believe there is nothing that can be done about Chin the Second. I know there probably isn't a go-to system in place in the Avatar world where he could mandatory report that asshole and get Kuzon away from him right away that night, but at the very least doesn't Aang have allies and powerful forces behind him that aren't spiritual? Doesn't he have the support of monarchs, and armies, and the White Lotus? C'mon Aang, you can find a way to overthrow this dictator and get this mess sorted out, or are you not the Avatar? *sigh. That is my two cents. Can't wait to keep reading!
librarywyrm chapter 3 . 3/31/2019
god, this is absolutely fantastic. You put so much thought into every single detail and character choice in this story, and it pays off tremendously! I think Aang as Avatar had so much more growing and learning to do that LOK and the original series never covered, and I'm so happy for fics like this that really take that into account. I wasn't going to check this story out because I knew it hadn't been finished, but I am just happy that these four chapters exist. thank you for your writing and if you never finish this fic, that's ok, I just hope you continue to write whatever makes you happy! (and if that takes the form of more zutara I wouldn't complain)

momo211 chapter 1 . 12/5/2015
I really love this concept, it's really unique and I totally agree that the ending to Avatar and Korra as a series had major problems. It's really heart breaking though reading about all the kids' lives. I hope they all get the happiness they deserve.
Guest chapter 4 . 9/20/2015
I have a question. If Aang looked 12 at 112 why would he look 36 at 120? Wouldn't he look 20? Or do you mean he looks 36 120 years after the show? I'm not flaming this or anything, I'm just wondering how this is supposed to work... Or make sense mathematically.
cubonemerang chapter 4 . 1/31/2015
I have some mixed feelings about this. I don't think Aang made a selfish choice in the show itself by not killing Ozai, especially since, up until the lion-turtle showed him a third option, he was extremely tormented by the thought, but had decided there was no other choice. Here, he's had several opportunities to do something about Ozai-Chin-Junior-Man. I'd say Cloud was in the wrong stopping Aang when he was going to protect Kuzon-Zuko. Chin admitted to killing children, and then starts abusing his own offspring right in front of the Avatar, I don't think anyone would blame Aang for arresting the guy on the spot, certainly not Kuzon. What's Chin going to do if you throw him in the slammer? Cry and hope to erode his way out of jail? The show has shown that people can come up with inventive ways to contain even the most powerful benders. I'm not saying that Aang's no-kill beliefs are right, but they are an important part of his character. The show itself didn't make it out to be right or wrong, and every other avatar has at least suggested killing at one point or another. Avatar Kyoshi and Avatar Korra both killed, and I don't think we're meant to think less of them.
