This is good! Love the back story and introduction of why Gemma's so wary. Nice pairing aren't they? Hoping for more.

You have to write more of these one-shots! I too am a lover of Me and Mrs Jones and a devout Gemma/Billy shipper (oh, come on, she has to choose irresistible Billy over that show-off totally dull Tom who isn't even that good looking to be honest) and I really loved this oneshot! Fingers crossed another series will be commisioned at some point.

I agree. I thought Ep6 was a bit of a letdown after the beauty and revelations of Ep4 and 5. But I think that while Gemma admitted to herself that she loved Billy, she still hadn't gotten over her worry about what everyone else would think, and they focused on that in Ep6 more than her actual feelings.

when I finished Ep6 I thought "well if she doesn't choose Billy I will drop dead at once. BUT if she does then they should relegate Tom to a friendly role and introduce Alfie's dad as another source of conflict" AND THEN YOU WROTE ABOUT ALFIE'S DAD and this piece is really lovely and great!
