Actually may I suggest that you edit it to say that Merlin had used his magic to move the cot. Since he's pregnant, and performing magic uses up as much or more energy as using his muscles, Merlin ends up with the same exhaustion and passes out after lack of sleep.

Actually women do as well if they're neglected too often by their husbands. One of my other friends is one her second husband because her first husband thought he could punish her by withholding sex. So. She foud comfort elsewhere and dumped the first husband. It didn't matter to her that the first husband was filthy rich and the second is middle class.
