I adore this fic, along with the rest of your writings set in the Hunger Games-verse. Rereading this during lockdown, and I feel like chapters 8 and 9 are different than the last time I read them. More fleshed out. I really like what you have done with it. I love seeing your Delly and the Mellarks help Peeta adjust. Am I right in thinking that you rewrote the last two chapters? And if so, when did that happen? Thank you, as always, for sharing your remarkable insights into this world. ️

Beautiful! The picture you made of Delly completely changed the way I see the character. I like how you made her realise Peeta would not be the same boy once he’s back home. I loved learning more about Peeta’s family and how they obviously care, but just aren’t that close.
Also, loved the moment where Prim clings on Gale during the fiest. These moments are rare in the books, and we kind of forget just how close Gale is to the Everdeen’s. He’s not just the « hunting partner ».
