I kept thinking it was Nakamori who had died, then it hit me at the end that this was a one-shot, heh. I just blazed through this series, and I love it so much and hope you will eventually continue. It seems like a good universe for short, easy stories to write, as the BO/MKO is gone already (though you *could* write about Vermouth or someone being still at large, and her connections to both Shinichi and Kaito). Saw your name and did an inner happy dance. This was a sweet, little one-shot. I imagine that if Kaito were deeply troubled by anything, it would be that type of scenario, and that if anything would encourage him at such a time, it would be Aoko's truthful support. Nice job!
