I like how you portray Legolas - yes, though he must have been MUCH older than this, I always imagined him to be a cheeky, mischievous, curious Elfling, and this came through very well :)

As for Thorin, I imagine he would have been rather caught off guard by the little Legolas (squee!), also as you mentioned at the start of the fic, he was bored and probably would have enjoyed (?) a little company - the company of an Elf, but company nonetheless.

Good job! I like it, Thorin was a bit OOC, he would probably refuse to talk to Legolas at all, but that's just my opinion; I believe that the characters are much different in my mind than in Tolkien's. I loved it! Legolas was so cute!

Poor Thorin! This is exactly how I feel when my kid brother wants to chat at 12:30 at night when I've been up since 5:30am. I like the way you made Thorin very grumpy and suspicious and Legolas so talkative. It was a pleasure to read!

Legolas scoffs at you, and I just stare. "Hmmm...so much I want to say, yet I'm against cussing." Legolas chuckles. "You're very lucky, dude, because if it had been me, I would have told you to" "Yes, Legolas?" "Never mind." I stare at you even more, my glare very intense. Clearly I'm a good actor at hiding my anger, though if you just look in my eyes, you can clearly tell I'm annoyed, and a little angry. "Well, I read your story. Personally...it was good. But the story is different from the author who wrote it. Look, you aren't here to impress people with your little 'reviews' that you leave on other authors profiles, you're here to inspire other authors, not complain about their technique. What if I told you that I hated this story? It wouldn't be true, butthat doesn't change the fact that its wrong, right? You should encourage people in their reviews, or tell them that their grammar wasn't quite right, not deliberately insult the way they make a story. And to stand before you now, face to face, review to review, and to say that I forgive you, even though I have absolutely no reason to...what does that tell you about who I am?"
