I can see why he’s in Gryffindor for the sake of accomplishing his mission but somehow it just feels off to me because Gryffindor is literally the antithesis of his character. Honestly I see him embodying more Ravenclaw or slytherin traits than anything else.

I know this story hasn't updated from 2014, but I've had fics that hadn't updated in more than 10 years suddenly make a reappearance, so I won't give up hope! This was a fun story, and I really enjoyed how you write shikamaru in here! Him being lazy about doing his schoolwork is definitely on point! I also like the bit about the non verbal spells and working them out in relation to chakra. Also that last battle with the wizard was also nicely thought out! I hope you do revisit this and continue!

I would love more omakes where the 5th sends more howlers. Come on, you know you want to... the hokage sending these and the hogwarts students hearing this... maybe even shikaku is there to add troublesome to the letter.

oh! that just incredible! the lazy personality of shikamaru fits very well.
I really want to read more, but I supose that this story is abandoned, however, i wish that you'll consideer to continue it soon.

I adore this story. Its very well written (I love the Omake idea) and I really hope you continue this. It just works how you explain magic with chakra and the idea of Shikamaru actually learning this stuff so quickly makes sense ... in a way. He probably still will use his shadowbinding and not actuall magic. Magical ninjas XD

I really like the wy you write and describe things, I don't think that you ramble on at all! On the contrary, I like that you put more details and info into the story to add some depth.
I have read one too many of those fanfics that had oh so much potential, but ended as some cheap writing because the authors didn't have enough patience to write it well, and let it brew, let the story slowly push itself forward and still hold us readers interest.
You have successfully written with some thought behind it, and now I'm sitting here with aching fingers, just waiting and itching for more!
Keep up with the fab work so far, I can't wait until the next chapter!
