What a strange yet intriguing story. Well done.

Oooo... delicious drama already. I like the unique way you presented the previous two chapters - the first as a medical assessment and the second as a newspaper article. I like that I'm not quite sure what to expect chapter to chapter. It keeps me guessing and coming back for more.

I really enjoyed this chapter! Having Inuyasha be the other paramedic was a bit of a surprise, but it made sense that he'd be paired with Miroku. And it effectively answered the question of who the mysterious stranger was.

The hospital administrator is a giant bag of dicks. I hope you're okay with me saying that. I dislike his type immensely, but they are everywhere in Japan - especially at the administrative level. I'm really looking forward to seeing he and Kagome tangle horns down the road.

I love it so far! I'm so tempted to just skip on to the next chapter, but this one deserved a review. I'm beyond curious about who this guy is and you built up the tension wonderfully! The way you've written Sango is perfection. She's sharp, intelligent and does not bear fools easily - I love her already! I can definitely see some hints of your medical research background peeking through. It gives the narrative that little extra something. I'll be very interested to see where you take this, but so far - nicely done!

I like how the story ends in a similar way it begins. It's even more shocking that this is inspired by a true story. Thank you for sharing this bittersweet story with everyone :)

What a bittersweet ending. While I was right with the characters, I still wasn't sure what motivated the entire story into motion. I guess I'm more surprised it wasn't something supernatural, but that makes the whole story more heartbreaking.

I've read your notes and know this was based on a true story (how fascinating!), but I will say that your description of depression is wonderfully depicted, IMO. It's realistic, sad, stark, and seems, to the POV of the main character, inescapable. It's sad and very interesting to see put down into a story with the IY characters.

Very nicely done story. While I was trying hard to ship a lot of the characters, I'm glad it didn't turn out that way. It's a simple story, a mystery, and a beautiful vignette all in one and I'm so happy that I've read it.

In ter est ing.

I must admit to being completely awful at music. I tried to play (piano) as a kid, but it didn't really work out. So seeing and reading about people who are able to use instruments to the point it's actually art is a strange and fascinating phenomenon to me.

And this story is strange and fascinating, too. I look forward to seeing how this will all shape up.

The mystery man may be no longer tortured but you are killing me! LOL The pulling back of the layers is mesmerizing and frustrating at the same time. I have all of these ideas in my head and I'm eager to see what's next.

Your update speed is admirable. His perfectionist tendencies make me lean towards the idea of him being Sess, but I could be wrong. In any case, I'm itching for the last chapter!

Interesting chapter. We know a bit more about the mystery man. I'm still hung up over the silver hair and golden eyes thing. Plus the fact that he has an older brother. It throws me off. I'm gonna take another ridiculous stab at this and guess that the mystery man is Naraku wearing a disguise (he's a shapeshifter isn't he?). Or maybe he's InuPapa and his sons just don't recognize him. Thanks for the update! Looking forward to how this'll end.

What a perfect distraction for tonight's spectacle!

As I read through the last chapter, I have some idea of who all of the characters are, but I won't speculate here. This chapter is a nice "palette cleanser" for the last few chapters. It's straightforward and moves the story ahead a few more steps.

I am very much looking forward to how this will wrap up. It's been terrific fun to read!

Wow. Okay so I was totally off base with my previous predictions. The dead guy isn't Inuyasha...so is it Sess? Wait, wait... if it was Sess, Inu would've called him out by now. Sess could be the hospital admin. Perhaps the mystery man is another person with white hair. Ack! Hakudoshi? Hmm now I'm not sure where you're taking this, but I'm completely fascinated with the twists and turns. I think I might have to re-read the medical chart chapter. Thanks for the awesome chapter! :)
