I love your writing and Iove this fanfic! Your writing is so beautiful, believable and true to the characters, we almost feel like we're watching them

This is probably one of my favourite SOM fanfiction stories ever! The proposal was really cute! The last line in the story was also really nice too.

Oh how beautiful this is! Thank you for writing the part the movie neglected. It always felt so incomplete to me for them to just go from the gazebo directly to the wedding, but now I have this wonderful story to fit into it. Don't stop writing!

This is such a lovely fic. I can still remember the first time I read it, and I've read it so, so many times since. I always wanted to come back and review it properly, as my original review is pretty lame and, seeing as how three years later, it is still one of my all-time favourite fanfictions ever!

You capture the initial heartbreak and uncertainty wonderfully, as well as the happiness as they realise the truth and your descriptions are beautiful (even if at times I feel like I'm watching the gazebo scene in slow-motion, but the writing is so lovely I don't care at all.) I love the line about his kiss being a question and hers an answer, and the way you explained why she started singing while he was kissing her; because she just HAD to let her feelings out. Often when I watch the film I think 'he's kissing you, be quiet', but with this it makes complete sense.
I love the way they throw the whistles into the lake, as well as how Maria had taken hers with her when she left as they only thing left of Georg. The whole time they're in the study is just gorgeous, finishing their dance and reaffirming their love. The line about strawberries and blueberries is very sweet.
The scene where Georg talked to the children was lovely, and Kurt's line about Maria being 'too important' to lose is awesome, as was Maria's 'spit-spot' at the picnic. I love the way Georg used her line about jewels to feed into the proposal, and how he spun her around afterwards.

This is a beautiful story. Clearly, you invested a great amount of time studying the gazebo scene and interpreting Maria and Georg's inner thoughts and emotions. I truly enjoyed your unique take on the events that occur after that scene, everything from their symbolic act of throwing the whistles into the lake, to their slow dancing by the fireplace, to Georg's official proposal the day afterward with the children witnessing this beautiful moment. You are a talented writer, and I'm glad to have come across this lovingly written tribute to one of the most beautiful musicals in the world.
