Re reading again for Halloween. This is so cute, I always love Eleven being sweet to children (I sort of wish we saw Twelve doing that sometimes).

Just when I thought Eleven with children wasn't adorable enough, him and River are just perfect. I could totally see Eleven flirting this way.

That was a very sweet Halloween story. We can really see how much the Eleventh Doctor loves children, and of course, seeing him and River together is always a treat. I only wish we would have been able to see more moments like this during Eleven's time on the show.
By the way, how were you able to update this if it was just a one shot?

I've read quite a few of these little stories you've written, and every time I get a big smile on my face from how joyfully they're written and what is usually a fun setting.

Waking up on Halloween morning and being greeted with this particular story about the Doctor living up the festivities, which I totally believe that he would, was a great way to start the day and remind me of how fun it can be.

Utterly adorable! He really is a twelve year old at heart. Loved the idea of his hyperactivity gone even more hyper than usual thanks to the candies. :D
