I always thought that Gustave and Danielle would be the natural couple if life had taken it's natural course. I always thought that they would have made a good couple as well, given that they knew the struggles of life, among other things. I loved Gustave's heartfelt confession! It is something that I wish I would be rokd as well by someone that loves me dearly as well.
Would you consider writing more in the Ever After realm? You should! You are an impeccable writer and I was able to imagine what you writing.

I know I'm probably stupid to think like this, and it's just me, but the ending doesn't really make sense to me. First I thought Danielle married the prince. Then I thought she married Gustave. Could someone please straighten me out? Thx.

That was a twist I never saw coming

Even though I love Henry and Danielle, I liked this ending. It was very realistic and sweet. Good story!

Excepting where you had the prince state he was to rule England (in the movie, it was France,) the fic was wonderful.

it took me a minute to understand that it was GUSTAV'S MOTHER'S shoe that fit perfectly not the prince's but then i said awwwwww for like 10 minutes and squealed. nice story!
