Greetings. It's Theodore Hawkwood from the Review Lounge, Too, Review Tag. I'll admit that of the fandoms you write for the only ones I have any real understanding of is Dr. Who and Mass Effect (a limited understanding).

I'll be honest it was rather sad to see that you decided to discontinue this tale. Right, that's enough pattering. It's time for the review proper.

I'll say that the Marianne Williamson quote is quite well integrated into the first chapter. Did you intend that as part of Shepherd's thoughts before the 'anticlimactic ending'?

Further notes on said anticlimactic ending (at least in your own words). I thought the the descriptions, though somewhat short, did allow for the reader to envision the ship exploding, burning, and generally just coming apart around Shepherd as the game ended. It harkens back to final cutscenes of many science fiction games quite well.

I think the prologue, overall, is just the right length. Long enough to grab the reader's attention and give context to what's going on yet short enough to cause someone to ask questions as to what happens next.

I happen to like the TARDIS' sudden appearance and the Doctor's entrance. Incidentally I like the fact that you chose to use Dr. Who one of the fandoms crossed over in this crossover fanfiction. Dr. Who lends itself quite well to crossovers.

I'm glad you are least kept up with this story for a few chapters and hopefully start this tale again.

This gonna be one hell of a story. I love it. The way the silince and the reapers work together. Although the silence are organic parasites and the doctor defeated them in the episode of the apollo rocket how do the reapers feel of them. Since what I read here they are mindless drones have the reapers made them a subjugated race like they did with the keepers and the collectors?

Brilliant idea with what you have here. Hope you contine writing and such forth, i know this is gonna be exciting. Also do you plan to save sheperd after the reapers destruction.

Last question/suggestion. Include the mars archives do something with them.

As usual, the Doctor is trolling, Hatbringer is trolling, and Shepard is desparately trying to keep up.

Just be careful you don't screw up history too much. Sputnik launched the space race, which lead to Humanity getting to Mars, which got then the Prothean Archives, which made the game happen. You're annulling your own back-story- be careful.

Still you write well, have a plan, and use grammar-great job!

Just as a note, the TARDIS also translates written words. In old Doctor Who this wasn't always the case, but circa Russel T Davies and 2005 it is. So, the Doctor and Shepard would have been able to read the writing after all. I also don't see why the Doctor would have had to destroy his own room to give one to Shepard. The TARDIS interior is miles in length, holding hundreds of rooms. (A good description of the TARDIS interior from above can be read in the 5th doctor book The Crystal Bucephalis). If The Doctor's Wife is anything to go by, he would sooner jettison all of his squash courts and half of the saved TARDIS control room layouts before destroying his own bedroom.

Other than those canonical niggly points, your writing is enjoyable to read. I love BOTH Doctor Who and Mass Effect, so this is quite a find.

This story is the goods. Pure and undisputed excellence. My hats off to the author, and I hope the muse hasn't completely fled because I'd love to know where this goes next.
