Sorry I know you rated it T but I had some ideas for Dumbledork nicknames that included cuss words. My personal favorite is Dumb-bull-shit. But that’s my opinion. Also for Voldemort my friends and I call him Moldy Voldie. And for Dumbles there’s always bar my old codger (from Dobby).

Great story, though the jump from early sixth year to the end of seventh seemed abrupt. Would love to know how his internship went, how his friends and enemies did in their first year or so after graduation, how his relatives were, if Harry remodeled #12, where he lived (US or Britain), if the Wizengamot ever really was fixed, if he found a love interest and family, etc.

Did Harry ever retake any of his OWLs after his tutoring? Did he take any of the muggle classes?

In this chapter, you jumped from it just being the teachers in the Hospital wing to the Governors being there too. There was no transition from them saying we need to tell the Board to them being there. You may want to add one, be it a floo call or a owl and meeting set up. it would flow better

All Dumbledore had to do early in book 5 best time when he first got to Headquarters is that there was a prophecy made about him and Tom, tell Harry the parts Tom knows already then tell Harry he needs to learn and practice occulemency to learn the rest and how Tom is after the orb at the MoM which contains the whole thing but stress how only Harry and Tom are the only ones to pick it up. Seeing how Tom has Harry's blood in his veins i bet he could of had one of his followers grab the orb with a blood soaked hand. Hell Tom could of snuck in with his followers under Polyjuice.

Odd, my parents were married for 30 years, never fought or argued in front of the kids except once. They didn't bicker over every little thing important or not. Ron & Hermione simply weren't compatible, having nothing in common on a personal level except Harry. Make a list of their communal activities comparing them like pros & cons. Even JKR reached the conclusion she made a mistake pairing them.
