"'...I dunno; it sounded kind of cliche and lame to me. But, then again, most villains in these sorts of stories are, so I guess I really shouldn't be tryign to complain...' "'...yeah, I guess you're right. This story hasn't really had any well-developed villains, has it?' "'Not Lavi, that's for sure.' "'Ouch. That's kind of harsh.' "'Darn right it is-' "'WHAT ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS GOING ON ABOUT?!' Brandr yelled after being unable to follow the conversation at all. "'Uh, nothing. The situation was looking kind of dire, so we just wanted to see if we could escape through the fourth wall.'" XD This is definitely my favorite chapter so far. A perfect example of the comedic comic relief fourth wall breaking aspect of Slayers! |
