This was beautiful. I loved that Derek had to save his son from all the women. LOL That was too adorable. All of the kids are sweet. Loved that the family came out to see Amelia's little one. You just want to hug and squeeze them all. Great work!

I'm glad that Nancy showed up - your Nancy is pretty awesome. :) I loved that the little girl has a head full of Derek's hair. I'm hoping the little bald one is a baby boy. They have come such a long way. I love how worried they are and I'm glad that things went well for them. Yay! Great job!

I adore your Carolyn. I think Derek's mom would have come out at least once a year to see him. My mom and I have to see each other at least once a year even though we live apart. I'm glad that she is there for the babies birth. I love her relationship with Zola. I'm glad that she can support Derek and Mer. Excellent job!

Awwww... Zola is adorable and will be a great big sister. I love that they are having twins. I loved the bits of flashbacks that we see with what they do differently. Amazing work as always!

Well, I love your version of reality much better than what we get on TV. I thought Shonda had forgotten about Mer's baby as we heard about Zola but never about Bailey. Amazing story. I love how you really show how I see Mer and Derek. I loved how all the family gathered together. If only we were able to see that on the show. A girl can dream right? My favorite part was Derek's mini me saying the girls were so bossy!

Perfect wrap up of this story. Now Meredith really does have it all. Love, children, friends, family, extended family and memories intact. I am so glad you named him after Derek’s father. Seems so natural to me that Derek’s character would do that. Not really a fan of the name of Bailey on the show but I digress.

Loved that Meredith insisted the babies be in the same neonatal bassinet. She always had great instinicts even when she thought she had no clue. Zola is too cute being the big bossy chatty sister. Even she knows that Cris “is no good with babies”.

Glad that they went to the trailer to reconnect. They are so close but so private. I’ll just pretend that Izzie, Alex, Arizona, Callie and Owen didn’t taint the place. Nope they were never there.

Great family 4th of July celebration at the end at the Shepherd compound with the inclusion of Amelia and her family. Thanks for sharing your vision of the legendary Meredith and Derek.

Well, this was wonderful. I'm sorry many people didn't comment, because it was truly great. You have a way to express feelings that is rare. I loved the family you created and the family ties you reunited. And Zola is just precious.

I really loved how you included the epilogue in this, it was the true closing of the circle of life. Too bad it was only 5 chapters, but they were so thought out that they were such an enjoyable reading, that I can't really complain.

Jasmin, I have enjoyed your story so much...kind of sad to see it come to an end...I am glad that Meredith and Derek got their happily ever after, as they should...I hope you will continue to update Shattered Dreams, as that is one of my favourites and I am dying to see the both of them in that story get their happy ending as well.
