It can be hard to write about such a dark subject matter in a comparatively light kids fandom, but you did it very well here. Your writing is beautiful and subtle, and this story gives a lot of depth to Luke's character, especially for its brevity. Great job.

I've read this story again and again... It is a wonderful piece of work. It helped inspire me to start a Lukecentric story. Please write more like this...

Excuse me, but I clearly remember telling Luke that he was from Krypton. So...yeah. But this story was still magnificent, nonetheless.

It's obvious you have a deep understanding about some of the issues Luke may have faced as a child. I love that you weren't afraid to tackle some of these deeper things instead of remaining on the surface, and taking Luke's comment at face value.

Brilliant, truly brilliant. There are very few elements in Jessie that are usable to create a serious work (it being a disney show and all.) The most prominent being the mystery of the children's life before being adopted, and you sir have dominated it. I am at a loss... its elegant, concise and almost poetic. Wonderful job.
