Wait, WHAT?! HOW THE FUCKING HELL DOES HE KNOW THAT HEI'S BEN SHRUNK?!

What you said in one of the paragraphs about Hei getting shocked kind of bothered me. Hei IS susceptible to being electrocuted. I don't know how far into the series you are, but in one episode, Hei had a battle with another contractor who had the exact same power as him and the only reason he wasn't toast was because he sent out a wave of energy just as strong as the one being thrown at him. Both of them short-circuited. In another episode, he shocked himself to keep his heart beating. Like said in one of the episodes - the contractors may appear invincible, but they are still very vulnerable to things.

Second annoying thing is all the author's notes spread throughout. I remember in the first or second chapter you wrote, you said something like, '(OMG OMG OMG Hei is so hot!)'. Instead of expressing your own thoughts and opinions in your own character, facade, don't you think it would be more effective if you just an actual character in the story say it? You could have just as easily had one of the girls giving Hei third and fourth glances squeal, 'Oh my gosh, that guy that just passed us is so hot!'. This way, the flow of the story isn't constantly interrupted by your own critique.

Of course, this is all just my opinion. Other than those two concerns, the story seems like a nice little read, if not strange-ish. I would have thought that the syndicate or Huang or Mao or even Yin could have tracked down Hei by now. Definitely the syndicate, since they're so uptight. But perhaps your Hazel Eyes is supposed to be one from the syndicate...?

Update Faster! I really like this story!

Oh noez, Hei has been found out. This story is really reminding me of my middle school days (not that I'd ever want to go back, of course). Kid Hei is probably just as hardcore as regularly sized Hei. Can't wait to see how he react to this hazel-eyed guy.

This is truly a new take on darker than black, its interesting and enjoyable to read. Keep up the great work!
