I think the Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and other zombie game references should remain to a minimum, especially the idea of adding girls from the series to the already oversized harem. For example adding the Harper sisters, Hunnigan, and Excella is pretty pointless when you have Claire Redfield, basically because they all look the same but Claire is the much better survivalist. Alice from the RE movies is also pointless and really annoying, personally I hate Mila Jovovich as an actress, I mean I like some of her roles, like LeeLoo from the Fifth Element, but really her role as Alice was a total fricken Mary Sue add in. I like Juliet Starling as well, but again, her role is pretty pointless with Naruko already in there. I think with RE girls, you should keep Jill, Rebecca, Claire, Manuella, and Sherry, and I think Zoey from L4D is a unique addition, and I wouldn't worry about adding more girls, I mean you've pretty much got a girl from every walk of life, every ethnicity, and every field of specialty with those girls plus the HotD girls.

FYI, I did pick those girls for reasons, Jill is a GI Jane badass while Claire, Sherry, and Zoey are survivors, with Sherry also holding the key to fighting the G-Virus. Manuella actually wields pyrokinetic abilities due to her virus making her an invaluable asset, I mean she was able to defeat someone that Leon could not, and Rebecca specializes as a field medic, which is different than Shizuka, while their medical knowledge will be the same, Shizuka is a medical facility doctor, meaning she's probably only good at reacting to situations with things on hand, while Rebecca is used to operating in the field, she's saved her team's ass on numerous occasions and can hold her own in a fight, she can accompany Naruto's group when they search for survivors while Shizuka remains on Uzushio to help with the facilities.

As for the other elements, I think there should be some mutations, like in RE, but I think Umbrella should be kept out of it, the movies were a bit absurd with how they portrayed Umbrella manipulating the world, I mean only so much shit can happen before your BSing comes back to bite you in the ass, that's why in the game, several other antagonists continued Umbrella's work. RE zombies also make no sense because they not only have ALL their senses, but most of the times those senses are revved up. Your eyesight and sense of smell relies on your brain and lungs to fully function, which both rely on bloodflow, if you have bloodflow, then the injuries these zombies have from being bitten should be debilitating and eventually lethal, after all, even a reanimated corpse can't continue if all it's blood leaks out of it's body. HotD zombies are different, they rely on hearing only, hearing can function even after you're dead because it relies on vibrations in the air traveling through your ear drum, meaning you only need brain function to distinguish the sounds, not hear them, which makes sense since HotD zombies apparently CAN'T distinguish sounds, otherwise they'd be able to tell the difference of a human and Saya throwing a wet rag against a locker. Since it is HotD, I think the best option would be to look to it's sister series, Triage X, which introduces the D99 virus, and a drug created from it, Platinum Lily, D99 though apparently has regenerative abilities, as it was used to heal the main character from mortal injuries, which in turn could explain the reanimation, and it made people go insane, turning to a berserker like state, much like the virus from "I am Legend", I think you would be better off making the HotD virus, something derived from the D99 virus. On that note, you could also include characters from Triage X, like Mikoto Kiba whom is basically a white haired, serious, badass version of Rei Miyamoto, and Sayo Hitsugi as well as Miki Tsurugi (if you don't know who they are, look them up on the Triage X wiki or better yet, watch the show, it's bad-ass).

Also I think you should lay off the Rei bashing, seriously, it's cliche and it comes from a handful of fans whom were upset about how she treated Takashi, but Takashi honestly deserved it, no self-respecting girl would put up with his shit, the fact Saeko and Saya try so desperately to steal him from Rei makes them look like desperate sluts, at least Rei has lingering childhood feelings for him, Saeko and Saya are trying to get with a guy who's too damn lazy to even properly arm himself for an apocalypse.

A bit cliche. The Namikaze-Uzumaki Naruto Sparda bit is a bit too much, Sparda has no place in the HotD world and Namikaze is not a clan name, in Japan, even modern Japan, you don't automatically take the name of your father, but whomever has the more influential family, and you don't combine last names.

Secondly, Alice from Resident Evil is NOT hot, and Mila Jovovich is a talentless flat-chested bimbo, she's a flat-chested version of Angelina Jolie, she can't act unless a role is designed for her. For example, if you had Mila Jovovich play the role of a more feminine woman, she would fail at epic proportions, for example, she COULD NOT pull off the Baroness from GI Joe (whom you mention in the author notes). The only reason Mila Jovovich has gained popularity in the RE series is because she's literally spreading her legs for the producer, who decided to replace much better female characters, like Jill Valentine, and male characters, like Chris and Leon, with this abomination he has named 'Alice', who is a freaking Mary Sue character.

Lastly, your portrayal of Rei Miyamoto is a fandom cliche. First of all, Takashi WAS jealous of Hisashi which is WHY Rei made that statement to him in the first place, I doubt she didn't notice Takashi's jealousy. Secondly, she is NOT a fan-girl, for starters, hers and Hizashi's relationship was at most, a few weeks old, I say this because she didn't start dating Hisashi until AFTER she was held back by Shido. HotD takes place in APRIL of what would have been the trio's THIRD year of High School, but they were held back, this is because it is mentioned in canon it was April, and the Japanese school year starts in March and ends with a one month break in like January or February. This means Rei found out she was being held back, the end of January or beginning of February right before the story starts, and started dating Hisashi at the beginning of the following month, meaning at most, they were only together for one month.

On top of this, Hisashi was a rebound, because Takashi had not only IGNORED her advances before, so he could hang out and play 'delinquent bad boy' with Morita, but he also accosted her about being held back, rather than asking her WHAT happened, he asked her HOW it happened, the former would indicate he knew something was up while the latter sounds accusatory. In other words, Takashi screwed up in the first place, NOT Rei, she did what any other girl would do, she turned to the last male she could trust, a MUTUAL FRIEND, Hisashi, and found comfort for her crumbling life in his arms, keep in mind, Rei being held back by Shido is something that in Japan, will haunt her into her actual adulthood, they scrutinize things like school performance, even after you enter the working world, in other words, like Naruto in canon, she's going to be dubbed a DOBE because a corrupt teacher messed with her grades, and Takashi didn't give two shits about it, Hell he even RESCUES Shido, which not only causes Rei grief, but ultimately it led to the deaths of the Takagi family, had Takashi let Shido die, none of this would happen. Funny, he was at one point willing to ABANDON the so called LOVE OF HIS LIFE but risked everyone else's life to rescue the very man who RUINED HIS LOVELIFE, talk about a sucker!

Yet everyone hates Rei. Why? Because some stupid little breast-hating bimbo or queer on Fanfic decided, "Rei's a Bitch", because she "Broke Takashi's Heart", nevermind the fact that even after Takashi GETS Rei's affection, he continues to IGNORE HER for other girls, so yeah, Takashi's such a freaking gentleman, and Rei's such a bitch for wanting a man in her life that actually gives too shits about her or how about a man in life that in the middle of an APOCALYPSE isn't so lazy that he REFUSES TO LEARN HOW TO USE A GUN! Yeah, Takashi's a fking genius, save the corrupt teacher who preys on young girls, abandon your best friend because you're jealous (Takashi's the reason Hisashi died, and he didn't even rush forward to help Rei either), and then to top it all off, tell your local gun expert "Eh, learning to shoot a shotgun's too difficult, I'm just going to use it as a club, never mind the fact that my arms are going to get tired of not only swinging the thing, but having to swing it with enough force to smash a skull rather than doing this the easy way and make a head-shot."...

Yeah, Takashi's a real genius, let's blow some more smoke up his ass and lets criticize the one girl with an actual will to survive aside from Saeko.

Also, Saya is NOT a genius, they just dumbed everyone else down to make her look like one, after all, what kind of "GENIUS" screams at people, for no reason at all other than to play Tsundere, AFTER she just finishes explaining that they react to sounds? That's kind of like Naruto figuring out Jubi Obito's little black rod attack was a Senjutsu technique that destroys Ninjutsu, and then tries to blitz him with Ninjutsu... WTF?! That's the same level of stupidity Saya had, honestly, when she wasn't showing her tits and ass, I fast-forward past any scene with her talking now, just because she grates my nerves, she makes Naruto Part 1 Sakura look shy and demure.

It's been a long time so I dont remember well but I dont get the hatred for Rei that was playing off similar to Sakura hate I see in some fanfictions.

It's off reading stuff like "get over it he is dead (said stretched out over a paragraph) *clapping from her makes out with girlfriend shoving tongues down each others throats* Oh by the way were you 2 even dating?" Then to sex.

Um.. how in the hell would Kawamoto change allegiance to someone outed to be scum by the majority over someone who used the force, Fuinjutsu and telepathy? How in the hell does that make any kind or sense?

Also why the fuck is he even allowing him to preach and do all that shit in the first place even taking any risk staying and sleeping on the same bus with them regardless of confidence in his abilities? Hes gotta sleep too and people make mistakes.

This whole thing makes no sense to me and I'm annoyed by the ridiculousness of Kawamoto's insane "defection " and the fact this damn fearmongering cult building bit was actually nonsensically allowed to happen right in front of them for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

And now I'm guessing he will die the same way but only after hes repeatedly had his fun with those girls that he couldve helped before there was ever an issue. That would've seen how reliable the group was and worked with them. But that didnt happen and one.. left despite practical magic and telepathy. Ffs.

So.. I'm expecting Naruto to just off the guy and be done with it at the start of the next chapter. At minimum boot his ass off. If not I'm going to be severely disappointed.
