This story is a precious one.

I've been looking for a fanfic like this about Team 7, and yes you have really delivered. You are one of my favorite fanfic authors across all the fandoms I love.

This was so terribly beautiful I nearly have no words to describe it. I'm a sucker for Kakashi introspective pieces, given that he is a character with so much to offer. I love how he has always fought not to get attached to anyone and in return he forged the stronger bonds with so many people. I love how he saw Team Seven as his own children and watched them grow into the people they eventually became. I love how he realized that weak, calm, overlooked Sakura bested them all and rose above all odds, earning Kakashi's respect and love in the end. I love how Kakashi is angry at Sasuke and proud of Naruto for finally lashing out and expressing his repressed anger towards his teammate. I love how, in an ocean full of regrets, Kakashi doesn't regret his children, his family, and everything that has happened to bring them here.

This review was supposed to be more thoughtful and well-written, I swear. But I guess my emotions got the best of me. I really loved your work and your portrayal of Kakashi's thoughts and feelings. It was very clever to start and end the story with a sentence about children, showing just how much Team Seven willed Kakashi to turn his entire life around. I think any more words are unnecessary. You did a wonderful job.

You know those moments where you just finished reading something earth-shatteringly brilliant and you just kinda need to sit there and just take it all in, every emotion, every tear, every revalation that you never in a million years thought you'd have? Yeah. I'm currently having one of those moments. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us. I keep up with the manga and this goes PERFECTLY with the latest chapter.

It's been a while since I've felt compelled to give a review but I must say that after reading your pic, I was so moved that I broke my self-imposed impasse on reviewing.

It is refreshing to see a Kakashi who is not portrayed as a perverted idiot or a mediocre adult. Finally, somebody has recognized his assumed role in the team and gave a perfect perspective on his thoughts and feelings on its members.

I liked the general flow of the story and its steady pace. Typos (if any) were unrecognizable and your grammar is impeccable.

I hope more people appreciate and read your fic. Please do continue writing more wonderful stories. -
