This was so sweet! I always felt that Ianto knew how to take care of Jack. I remember in one episode when he yelled at Owen "Jack needs me!" He said it with a conviction that revealed Jack needs someone too, even though he doesn't show it often.

Really touching. Jack kind of does defer to Ianto a bit in the series... not when on "business" but in more personal matters.

ANd I think I vaguely remember some interview with John saying that Jack likes being with the Doctor because he can relinquish the leader role and just follow orders.

God, this was sooo... I don't think 'cute' is really appropriate but for lack of an other world it must do. I loved it. :)
