23 years is a long time. I think I've put off reading this because of that. It just didn't seem fair the universe kept them apart. I really don't like reading stories with Finn married and children with some one else. It hurts my Finchel heart. But as always you never fail to elicit such strong emotions for me with your words. The words Rachel spoke to him on the breeze interspaced with talks with Alice. Like Alice was challenging him to go to his truest love. Just absolutely fabulous writings. Honor their tether! Remember our drummer!

I've read this before but I was reminded how good this was so had to reread, it still brought me to tears and gives Finchel the happy ending they so deserved .

I don't know how I missed this before. This was really good, although it was hard to read about Finn loving anyone but Rachel. I would love to see a follow up and find out how Finn and Rachel are doing going forward, and if they ever got their baby together.

I think I would have liked this story better if Rachel had a full life with husband and family of her own and then reuniting with Finn after both respective spouses were no longer in the picture. Both then can rediscover what they lost so long ago. The way this story is played out makes Rachel miss out on too much, which somehow seems unfair inspire of the renewal of their love.

My heart ached for Rachel. She deserved to have a family of her own instead of waiting. Now after 23 years she is too old. I believe in their epic love but I feel there has been too many years to go back. I'm sorry but I have to agree that Finn is being selfish to try to get back what he lost when his wife died. Of course, I wouldn't have made it through your story if it wasn't so well written. You are a gifted writer.

Just wanted you to know that, while I'm not a big fan of Rachel and Finn together, I absolutely adore the way you write them together! Thank for this story!

Very good writing. This is actually one of my biggest fears that RIB would do to Finn & Rachel. I am not sure if I could keep watching if we had to witness another love and marriage and kids. There's a point where there is too much water under the bridge to maintain this beautiful story that could be. Maybe ready your story will help me deal with it.

Although this was really written well, I can't help but think about how tragic this story is. Rachel definitely got the short end of the stick when it comes to the relationship. How can she ever compare to what Alice means to him when he's shared a loving life and family with her for so many years? Rachel feels more like the childhood connection that Finn wants to reinstate to help him get over the hurt from his wife's death. Rachel, to me, would never be able to play second fiddle to someone, even if dead.

Beautiful ending to such a heightening story. I love how you balanced the jealousy and compassion Rachel had for Alice. It made me resonate with her loss, but also with hope that her future with Finn would encompass that of his past with Alice. Also, the way you highlighted that bond with song was powerful and contrast it with the one that Finn didn't have with Alice. I always wanted Finn to sing this song to Rachel. Hope you can write more!

My tea is cold and my heart of crying. This was another beautiful story I loved it. To be honest I was hesitate to read because I'm not fond of Finn marrying and loving someone else but it was beautiful.
