Had to reread this, still amazing. Hope you’re doing well

As a rule I don't usually read 10th walker stories, especially the kind where it's someone from our world. Your fic has broken all the terrible tropes and it was addicitingly fun to read. I do hope you update one day I want to know what happens next with Emily and Boromir and the rest of the fellowship!

I am still checking every couple of days since March if there was an update to this fanfic :)
It is absolutely the best ‘falling into Middle Earth’ story out there. I am particularly interested in those sort of “time traveling” kind of stories because the cultural differences create so much dramatic tension, and I have never encountered an author that would have a better grasp on presenting it. Maybe it’s due to your personal experiences or it’s just due to your amazing talent. Either way I really hope you continue the story. There is still so much that can be explored and I am just dying to read your work, not only because I find it enjoyable but also because I think it really forces one to think about other people’s perspectives and how the societies we grow up in mold our entire personalities and world views.
Even if you don’t continue, because you are no longer invested in this, please know that it was an amazing journey for me and you as a writer have a very special place in my heart :)

Probably someone already brought this up:
Emily got her "knowledge" of what will happen in the "future" from the movies only, right? Will it ever occure to her, that there are already two different "futures" to developone according to the movies and the other according to the books?
Could add some confusion next time she is about to change something, and starts to remember a discussion back home with friends who complained about the differences between movies and books? E.g. the fate of Saruman? Just an idea ...

I really hope that their misconceptions of what happened to her get corrected soon. That said, Seeing her Three Protective Dad's there is so cute and heartwarming.

Btw, still wondering what the deal with the fact that they couldn't sense the wargs that one night when she could, as well as the flash of light from the forest is.

Poor Emily! I can't imagine having to learn to use my senses all over again. I also hope that soon Boromir and Gimli will stop suspecting her and grow to like her.

Ah, and I forgot to add, I really like the concept for the beginning of this - a 10th Walker fic ACTUALLY starting out at a Ren Faire and the porta potty being the "portal"? It's not something I've seen before, and was wildly entertaining.

Reading your authors note, I have to ask, so People really still do that? Not every female OC is a Mary Sue - and even if Emily was one, there's no harm in it if it's something people are enjoying.

Anyway. I did enjoy it. I'm obsessed with getting people to write more Boromir/OC fic too so I hope that's where this is going. The language was particularly amusing - Are you and/or Emily southern? There was a figure of speech in there I didn't understand and haven't heard before, so that was fun

I started reading this story yesterday, and now I finished chapter 42. The story was/is very captivating.
Please tell me that next chapter is just around the corner.

So glad you updated. Every couple months I always go back to this and read it from the beginning. Boromir is basically my guilty pleasure and I love how you portray him in this. Every time a chapter is released I always hope for more Boromir and Emily moments. I enjoy seeing Boromir getting embarrassed by Emily's forwardness. He's such a lovable prude

Yay an update! I do wish you would update more frequently but I understand that life can get in the way. Seemed more like a filler chapter but a necessary one. Can't wait to see what's next!
