You're right. Loki always seemed a little...out of step with the others. There was a certain amount of loyalty and friendship there though. They certainly would have mourned his passing regardless of what happened.

Oh, this was beautiful. I loved how you showed all the bad, terribly annoying and frustrating things that Loki did, and Sif and the Warriors Three didn't glorify him in death, but still missed him. And how they told stories about all the horrible things they could remember Loki doing, and a few he never had, and how they couldn't help but listen intently just in case Loki came in and corrected them about how events went. And that ending was just great.

This is really lovely, and spot-on. I agree, despite the, umm, unbalance among this group of friends, I'm also convinced that they are all friends, at some level.

After all, during the raid on Joutenheim, Loki's not only fighting his guy but also keeping on eye on everyone else and trying to get all of them out of there safely... Like he's probably done a thousand times, while Thor is having his big, bad-ass battle moments and Loki is acting like the real leader, concerned for everyone else's safety.

I like this vision for the groups relationship, and I smile to think it might be something like this in the post Thor-TDW universe!

Oh, this was beautiful. Real, and perfect. They never seemed to like Loki much in the film, so the insults are believable - but at the same time, using insults to remember someone who has died feels like exactly the level of familiarity that lifelong friends would use, and it ends up coming across as affection.

Wonderful story - I love the quiet, poetic feel to it that makes it all the more powerful. I'm not in this fandom and just felt like looking for some fic after re-watching the Thor movies, and I count myself very lucky that I came across this little gem.

This is beautiful. I think it really fits - the Warriors Three & Sif & Thor are all well drawn, and *of course* Loki would pull hair & be brilliant at flyting. Sniff. And they would mourn, of course they would. Now if only someone could convince Loki it was so...

Oh Gods, this was short and sweet and painful and so very lovely. It's hard to figure out the dynamic between Loki and the Warriors Three, but this just rings so very true, both with the MCU!Loki and myth!Loki.

You've caught the feeling of a sibling-love/hate relationship with Loki and the others. I've read it a few times now and it was very well written, and you did not overdo the characters, but instead made them quite "human"

How is this for feedback; you have me shedding tears right now. I've always liked Loki, empathized with him, but now you're making me wish I could just jump into the movie and hug him (poor god looks like he needs it).
