I know it's been many years since you posted that story and there is a hight chance that you never see that comment BUT after reading this chapter I felt the need to review. It was hauntingly heartbreaking. On the one hand I want to curse you for putting them through so much pain and suffering. Losing a child is a heavy matter.
On the other hand, you could not have written it better. The anguish, the pain... everything was so perfect.
You are a very talented author.

This is very sweet so far! I agree - I thought it strange that Erik would get the girl of his dreams, even if just for a night, that intimacy he craved, yet be the one to walk away first. My only theory is that his insecurity and terror of a second rejection - far worse than the first - outweighed his possessive and attached nature. I wish it hadn't, but there it is. I like this much so far!

Hello! Just wanted to say that even with repeated readings, this story remains as enjoyable as ever! When I had first seen how our dear author and I share similar thoughts about "Love Never Dies" (basically that's its premise of Erik abandoning Christine right after his greatest wish came true, and with it the possibility of "happily ever after" together was painfully RIDICULOUS), I knew I'd love this story.
