My My...you have a way with words. I Was about to start Taking the Reins and decided to read AROHB again. I'm glad I did. I didn't realize you had added a 2nd chapter. God it was so good. You always make me FEEL how desperately they want and need the other. When you write about the sun dancing in Emma's green eyes, what they're wearing or sexy times. I can see it as if on screen, because your descriptions are always so vivid. Your characterization of Regina is how I think Regina would be, in love. You give her a softness w/o her becoming ooc. And I don't know why I get so much joy whenever Regina calls Emma 'Princess' but I do :-)

Where do we find "Taking the Reins?" It is not listed under your stories. Did you use a different author name? Is it on another site? Did you publish it?

So there are many things that I like in this little series. I like the riding lessons; not just as they are given to Emma, but that they enlighten all of us. They are each explained well and in such detail that we can easily see them in our mind's eye.

Sex on horseback is something I haven't seen since Xena, and is unique to the fanfiction that I have read so far, so quite creative.

The other thing that strikes me is how I can feel Emma's frustration with her life here, even though you've barely touched on it. I hope you go into this more fully, as I suspect that once you write about this longer, Emma's feelings will be revealed in rich detail. I look forward to that.
