This story was alright. I like superman/boy bonding fics, especially when those bonds are formed through suffering. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, yes? If i had anything to criticize about, it would probably be the details. To me, the story seemed a bit rushed and therefore a bit lacking in details that would have made the story a lot more thrilling. I still like the resolution though. The second part of this chapter made me chuckle. Maybe my sister's nonstop babbling is making me notice these things everywhere, but was there a Supernatural reference in the Kents' last conversation? If you say no, my sister will never let me live it down. If you say yes, she will still never let me live it down. Either way, i am thwarted by those Winchesters!

So, I read this story a loooong time ago and I was reminded of it again, because DC put out a comic where Superman is held captive on Apokolips in a, wait for it. Cell made of kryptonite. Isnt that crazy! its like you predicted the future! Great job by the way, really love this story.
