I think I have actually read this story before and somehow found it again, giving a wierd sense of déjà vu to this read through.
I would like to suggest that if you ever rewrite you might consider making her determination to kill S a bit stronger in the beginning. you could start her off with the market job, she'd still have time to meet Rin and the others but less opportunity to kill S. this would slow down the story more. you could even add a failed attempt or two, even if it were only a short time working as shopper. S could still have plenty of opportunities to observe her. something could happen and she could have her job switched to server. his interest could grow faster than hers and it could be fairly dramatic. I do find it difficult to believe that he'd accept his interest as easily as he has. he might open himself up to a old fashioned "season" as such to try and find an appropriate mate. I imagine that M would be more interested in the tracking of her villiages killer than she has been. Maybe alternating in thoughts of who to kill rather than being completely fine one minute and "now is my chance" next minute.

I do really enjoy this story. Thanks for writing.

I can not believe this is the end - in a good way of course. Your description of everything is perfect and your oc was wonderful. I am full of emotions. I'm very happy with the ending, though it leaves me with some questions I know will get answered in the sequel (which, the questions probably occurred because I started reading the sequel first).

This is probably one of my top favorite fanfictions, and I'm glad I took the time to read it.

There is one thing I will point out that didn't settle the best with me. (Spoilers for anyone who decides to read the comments before making it to Chapter 22)

That seemed like it happened too fast. Like, the build up to that point was good. But Koga's death just seemed like it happened too quickly. I think there should have been a little more conversation and observing of body language before Mitsuhime made her attack on Koga.

But other than that, it was a wonderful fanfiction. And I shall switch over to keeping track on the sequel and giving any possible advice I can offer. c:

Considering that I'm also reading the sequel while reading this, that last line hit me hard. Talk about foreshadowing. DX

I finally got around to start reading this, and boy does this chapter pull you in or what? As I previously said, your style of writing is absolutely wonderful and I'm definitely looking forward to finishing this and keeping up with the sequel. I sure hope you do the sequel for this story it's really good and actually at times made me feel a bit sad... which is odd for a story to do, at least for me.

Overall, I really like your style of writing, and the storyline was great. Bad, bad Koga! Although it's sorta good Koga because if he hadn't done it she wouldn't have met Sesshomaru, but . . . meh. ; The story was ah-maze-ing!
